Papa has 2 weeks off so we are seeing all the sights. Yesterday we went to the "Science Center". I saw alot of local animals and fish. I was a bit shy of all the walls that had fishies in them and I told Mama I was "scared". I got to see the "Dou" boats that they built before in Kuwait. Mama got inspired with the night scenery and took photos of the Kuwait shoreline at night.
I've had a great couple of days out and about with some of my new friends. Elijah is a 3 year old from the homeschool group that I'll get to play with every Thursday. The girls are kids of fellow teachers that Papa works with and that Mama knows. The little dog is "Jeff". Many people here think dogs are dirty and so when we were walking with him they ran away like he was a rat or something...
Sometimes as a mom you just have to ask "who teaches them that"...I can tell you without doubt that Hamlet and I have ALWAYS eaten all of our sandwiches...
This is papa and mama's "bedroom"...it's a one bedroom apartment so they sleep in the main room and I get the bedroom so I can take naps...
Mama and papa bought this really cool rug from IKEA that has road on it and I play with my cars and trains on it.
That's my bed. It's a small room so mama couldn't get more in the photo...but there is a couch and a wardrobe in there too.
That's our kitchen...complete with a gas stove. Mama's still experimenting to know how to bake without burning things...
This is another view mama and papa's bedroom. We like to watch movies together and sit on the bed.
Today I enjoyed quality time at the beach...I even met a friend...
before the beach today Papa and I watched "Bob the Builder"...only it was in greek (I didn't mind)
We visited with our friends Charlene and Dotun after church on Friday. Dotun and Charlene are parent's of mama's good friend Sade-who is studying at a University in Canada right now...
