k. so Phoenix is the only naked baby in this photo because he just got weighed...but here are some of his little friends. This is our Thursday outing...fun stuff.

3rd tooth

So we've had a rough couple of days...Phoenix got really sick with Vomiting and Diarrhea and we got to the point where the nurse counseled us to take him to the hospital. Thankfully he ate well and had a wet diaper (when did I ever think I'd be so excited about a wet diaper!). Today his third tooth popped out and we are guessing that's what has caused all this fuss. It's moments like this that I have to remind myself that I am merely a caretaker of this precious child and that God loves him and has a plan for him...even if that means taking to the hospital so that we can encourage other families or the doctors or other patients; etc. All Glory to God!

Easter Wishes from Oregon

Holidays are so much more fun with a child. We enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt as well as a drive in the country where we stopped by an Alpaca Farm. How would you explain sand to someone who's never seen or felt it? What would it be like to watch someone explore it for the first time??? This weekend Phoenix enjoyed his first real tromping around the beach in Lincoln City.

A spring visit of "Tiotstia" Stacie

Spring is here in Oregon with the beautiful first flowers coming up. The sun was out the other day and Phoenix took his jumping fun outside! A HUGE step up from jumping in the bathroom door. By the way, "Tiotstia" means Aunt in Russian so that's Stacie's new name! (I'm sure that will be his first word being so easy to say and all...)
