Phoenix's "Tricked- out" wagon

True to form Hamlet surprised us all with his elaborate wagon for Phoenix's first birthday. Complete with white wall tires, rear spring suspension and an operable steering wheel that turns the front axle. Phoenix is now traveling in style. Happy Birthday "pitu-pitu"...your papa loves you.

This entry has been changed a bit as Hamlet is now in the process of patenting his idea...(sorry, no images till all is set). This is a humbling and exciting new adventure in our life and we'll let you know how it goes...

Our South Korean Brothers

We were blessed to host two students from South Korea for the weekend. We also got to enjoy a Korean meal complete with games, food and dress! We send you warm wishes and blessings "Wesley" and "Chris"! We are so thrilled that Phoenix is making international friends so young in life so that our prayers for him to be an Ambassador of Christ's love to people all over the world will be fulfilled.

So I had to post this fun little fact...Phoenix now weighs 24lbs, 7oz. All day, every day.

Newberg Public Works Day

True to form of being a wonderful, quaint community town Newberg hosts lots of fun activities...like public works day-where they bring out all the big trucks and heavy equipment so that the kids of the town can look at them, sit in the drivers seat, etc. There aren't alot of recent photos of me so I thought I'd include this one.

first haircut

today was Phoenix's first official haircut so here's the before and afters...and in case there was any question-he definetely has made the transition from baby to little boy...

Pool parties

so with summer officially arriving in Oregon we've splurged on a kiddie pool and invited all of Phoenix's friends over...playing in the pool is a hit!
