Indiana, Grass and Wally

So it's a bit of a change coming from Oregon to Indiana...to find humiditiy, sun and hot weather! (compared to the cold, rainy 60 degree weather in Oregon). Thankfully the trip went well and we've enjoyed a few days with family in Indy. We made it just in time to celebrate Phoenix's Grandma's 63rd birthday. Mom, you've been an amazing example of a woman who loves, who sacrifices, who enjoys, who supports her husband, who loves her kids...I thank God for you. Happy Birthday.

A visit with Aunt Becca

We enjoyed a visit with Aunt Becca. Upon arriving at the airport we whisked her away and enjoyed Multnomah Falls in the 95 degree sunny day.

Towards the end of her visit we enjoyed a trip out to the coast for a few days and took a trip out to one of the lighthouses...

For all those interested Phoenix isn't crawling yet...atleast not forward. He's crawing backward and just started sitting up in bed-but no official crawling yet. We will keep you posted. He's 10 months old now...has about 24 pounds and has 4 teeth.

A Visit with Newberg Firefighters

The photo class had the honor of touring the Newberg Firehouse. A huge thanks goes out to all the fine men and women who serve there...thanks for the awesome experience and for all that you do!

(and yes...for all who wonder that's me in the black firefighter's gear!)
