Grandma and Grandpa Shopp came from the land of the Hoosiers (Indiana) to see how much I've grown and to play with me. I look alot like my Grandpa George don't you think? I'm really enjoying communicating and am fluent in sign language. So far I can say and sign "more", "all done", "hot", "food", "water", "please"and "thank you" and "ciao". The first couple of days I was Grandpa's shadow and followed him almost everywhere. I like to play peeka-bo in Guarani with my Abuela who says "coreako....WA" to me. I've recently learned how much fun it is to turn the lights on and off repeatedly....cool huh? As of today, January 20th I am officially a year and a half old! Mama and Papa are really happy that I'm now sleeping solidly from 8pm till 7am without waking up (or waking them up). Sleep is a wonderful thing!...that was my Christmas present to them this year. This was Phoenix's first time to wake up to snow fall. We enjoyed a winter wonderland today...a special treat as Beaverton doesn't normally get snow. A video of Phoenix's first day of playing in snow is yet to come.
