And...we are back!  After a year break we are ready to post pics so family and friends can follow our life events.  This school year in Kuwait ended with us all learning Arabic from a friend.

June found us back in Indiana for Tiotsia Stacie's wedding.  We enjoyed the joy of green!  I even caught my first fish!

Here's a photo of "Habibi" the rescued dog we brought back from Kuwait for our family in Oregon.  He's now happily settled into his forever home.

summer in the states part 1

 We started in Indiana...then off to a waterpark in Tennessee then on to the high deserts and beaches of Oregon, then ended back in Indy before we boarded a plane back to Kuwait...

more failaka fun with friends

 nothing like playing at the beach with friends! After the beach we expored more of the island, the tank graveyard, and the old bank (riddled with bullet holes).  Then back to our hotel for tickling with grass and relaxing...

another day on Failaka

 We were happy to meet up with our archeologist friend, Khaled.  He hosted us to several meals during our visit on the island (we also enjoyed MORE exploring of the "ghost town")...I even found legos abandoned in a classroom from the occupation 20 years ago!
